It is common that English speakers make offers in conversations in order to be polite and helpful. When they do so they use these expressions:
Offering
- Shall I (verb1)……….?
- Would you like me to (Verb1)………..?
- Would you like ………?
- Oh yes, I’d love to.
- That sounds nice.
- That’s very kind of you.
- Oh, thank you. Yes, please
Refusing an Offer
- I’m sorry I can’t. I have to …
- Oh, I’d love to, but I don’t think I can’t.
- It’s all right. I can.......
